Sorry to digress please:
Yusuf Buhari Nurse:
Nurse Doris Eberechukwu and What is Possible with Nigeria.
Did you see the appreciation statement sent out by Mrs. Buhari over Yusuf’s medical treatment? She singled out few people for special mention and the first person she mentioned is an Igbo woman, Nurse Eze Doris Eberechukwu for her special care for Yusuf. I also note that the team of medical experts chaired by Professor Isaac Adewole is made up of experts from various medical fields and they are a mix of Yoruba, Igbos and Hausa/Fulani who are simply giving the best medical care to the young man. They are also a good mix of Muslims and Christians.
The point i want to make is, this speaks to our humanity and possibility of what is possible in Nigeria when we unite behind a common goal.
When we seek medical care we simply go for the best and nobody cares to know the ethnicity and religious belief of the caregivers.
Why dont we allow this mindset that seeks for the best in the choice of our political leaders rather we focus on religion and ethnicity.
Nigeria needs more Nurse Doris Eberechukwu.
