Why Most Women Look Pretty and Sex Wearing High Heels

Heels not only make you look taller (which in itself is considered attractive), they also make your calves look slimmer, because they engage those muscles. Since I have reaped the benefits of this, I can attest to this personally.

When you wear heels, your posture naturally changes, rotating your hips to tuck in your bottom and helping to keep your back and shoulders straight. It will also lengthen your legs, making you look proportionally thinner by comparison [1]. Your clothes also look better on you, especially full length skirts or dresses that would have otherwise touched the ground.

According to a study, scientists concluded that the women looked more feminine in heels, as they made them take shorter strides and swing their hips more.

Writing in the journal Evolution and Human Behavior, the researchers said: ‘We suggest that high heels may exaggerate the sex-specific aspects of the female walk which could cause sexual arousal in males and make women aware of potential competitors for mates.’

Even in the figure above, the woman in heels looks ‘sexier’ somehow. Notice the change in posture. In the study above, attractiveness was rated by men and women, and women in high heels were consistently rated as more attractive only by their gait.

A little commentary on ‘short strides’ – scientists consider that longer strides with a free knee gait, minimal hip movement and arm movement from the shoulders is masculine. And that short strides with a controlled knee gait, pronounced hip movement and arm movement from the elbow is considered feminine

So ladies, I guess the heels are here to stay
