Waje – Shape Of You [Refix]

One of Nigeria’s foremost female vocalist, Waje, is at the fore of things again as she flexes her vocal prowess.

She does a cover for Ed Sheeran’s chart topping single “Shape Of You” and she smashes it.

On this one she was aided by a musical production from talented hit maker E-Kelly.

Born Aituaje Iruobe, she is probably the only professional Nigerian singer whose vocal range covers three octaves.

Her stage name Waje is an acronym for “Words aren’t just enough” and in every sense, words aren’t just enough for us to describe how well she killed this song.

Waje means business as the cover arrives with a visual performance, directed by Daniel Aniyam.

Watch the performance below, enjoy and please share your thoughts on it with us.
