Resin art has always been a no go area for most Nigerians, with little knowledge of how to go about it. Though, a very beautiful art form that can be used as a corporate gift or even souvenir, the challenge of getting this unique and bespoke art form has been bridged as Chi Tola opens a resin art shop in Lagos.

The versatile and multi-preneur Chi Tola Roberts this time has taken her skills to another level. The talented mother of one is exploring the world of arts, decor and jewelry by creating outstanding pieces with a product called Resin! Yes! Resin. Just like I was wondering before I saw it too. I can tell you they are lovely premium pieces.

Epoxy Resin are a two -component system consisting of Resin and Hardener. By mixing the two components, a chemical reaction takes place so the liquid RESIN gradually hardens to a solid plastic. THE RESULT – a high – gloss clear surface.

Resin is not only used in boats and building, but also in ARTS! RESIN gives artworks a glass-like finish, like a glassy lake.

Tola will be showcasing some of her resin arts at an exclusive exhibition in Lagos scheduled on the 11th of August 2019. At this exclusive exhibition, you will see RESIN jewelry, decoration essentials, wall arts, gift items, pictures and stationery.

Chi Tola Roberts can virtually resin anything! When I visited her studio, I couldn’t believe my eyes. In fact, I was amazed at the the work she had on hand doing for a telecom company. Annual employee appreciation awards, they looked so lovely under the Glassy Lake finishing. And I said to myself, These awards can now last a lifetime. WOW!! it was so beautiful I wished I was going to get one. Printed on paper, employee’s name written on it and then glassy lake finishing that is unbreakable! AWESOME!!
I saw some portraits of some top icons being beautifully ResinD too. So you can actually also have your pictures in that Glassy Lake Finishing.

….End…
