Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has been interfacing with the ICT sector on many fronts. The significance of this is that he has a good understanding of the kind of people to meet and also what they expect of him.

The startups in the country would have a respite, due to the interventionist stride made by the presidency over the years. The startup space has been identified as one of the engines of the economy and an avenue to engage the teeming youths. It’s on this note that the presidency finds it worthy to engage the space and kick start, de-risking and improving the access to credit of the startups.

In the area of ICT, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has been interfacing with the ICT sector on many fronts. The significance of this is that he has a good understanding of the kind of people to meet and also what they expect of him.

In the area of agriculture, While President Muhammadu Buhari was busy in America reinvigorating our pride to be called Nigerians, Vice President, Yemi Osibanjo was meeting with the MD /CEOs of Bank of Industry (BOI), Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN), Bank of Agriculture (BOA) and Nexim Bank on Development Financing and De-risking SMEs in his office, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The initiative is all geared towards making funding available to start-ups and equipping already established enterprises with more support.
