Show of Appreciation;Geoge Weah Pays His Debt To Arsene Wenger

One good turn deserves another, so says a popular saying and also appreciation is very imperative. This ,the young Liberian president, George Weah gas demonstrated by recognising the impact Arsene Wenger, the Arsenal former coach has made in his life especially career.

Literary, George Weah paid back a 30 years old debt he owed his former coach.

Wenger, 68, received Liberia’s Order of Distinction and was conferred with the Knight Grand Commander of the Humane Order of African Redemption – the highest possible rank, according to the country’s Information Ministry.

“ When racism was at its peak, Arsène Wenger took care of me like his son. He taught me that black & white guys can live together. He’s a father figure. Every time I was on the football pitch, I was ready to break my head, my face, my neck to win games for him.”
