Senator Uche Ekwunife: An Amazon In The Senate Chambers

That lady is an Amazon isn’t an understatement, having demonstrated that she has the guts, capacity and dexterity to represent her people. One of the few senators that has been vocal and understands the concept of representative democracy. A democrat per excellence. She can be called a rare combination of beauty and brains . She is Uche Ekwunife and she has acjeved these things these last few months !

 

1. Construction of St Joseph’s Road Nri

 

2. Construction of Okelue Road Enugwu-Agidi

 

3. Motion for immediate intervention of the Federal Government on Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, as well as assistance in checking the increasing devastation of erosion in Anambra state.

 

4. Inspection of the Enugu-Onitsha  Expressway and Erosion sites in Anambra state by Senator Barnabas Gemade led Senate Ad-hoc committee on works with recommendations by the committee which was taken round the sites by Senator Uche Ekwunife for an urgent action to be taken by the federal government.

5. A Bill for an Act to amend Section 7, 162, of the 1999 Constitution and provision of political and financial independence for local government administration.
