October 7: Alex Iwobi Might Not Feature For Zambia Match

Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi is again an injury doubt for Nigeria after he suffered a relapse of a thigh injury which had earlier ruled him out of a World Cup double-header against Cameroon this month.

Iwobi has been left out of his club’s UEFA Europa League clash at BATE Borisov tonight on account of this injury.

It is now left to be seen whether Iwobi will be fit in time for a crucial October 7 World Cup qualifier against direct rivals Zambia in Uyo.

The Arsenal star scored one of the goals when Nigeria beat Zambia 2-1 in Ndola in October 2016.
