Imo Guber: Youths root for ABC Transport Boss



As the preparations for various parties primaries are coming to a head, youths from the 27 local government areas of Imo State have cued behind the founder of ABC Transport, Mr. Frank Nneji who is also a foremost APGA governorship aspirant in the state, calling on the party to give him the necessary support to become the governor come 2019.
The youths numbering over fifty under the umbrella, ‘Youths for Better Imo’ stormed Frank Nneji campaign office at Ohaozara street, Aladinma Saturday led by their coordinator general Oscar Emeka.

In his address, the coordinator general of Youths for Better Imo (YBI), Comrade Oscar Emeka stated that the body resolved at its general Assembly held on 9th May 2019 to identify and adopt the governorship aspiration of ABC Transport Boss, Mr. Frank Nneji for the employments he has offered to the teeming youths of the state.

Comrade Emeka said, “This is a man who started a Transport company here in Imo state 25 years ago when the environment was not conducive to do business yet today he has grown the business that it is not only quoted in Nigerian Stock Exchange but has provided over 4000 youths job making himself the second largest employer after the state government. We want him in the Douglas house to replicate this giant strides in the state level”.
He therefore urged APGA members in Imo state to ensure that Mr. Frank Nneji picks the party governorship ticket insisting that Nneji is the only aspirant generality of Imo youths, women and men would rally round based on his tract record.

He disclosed that the body which has over four thousand members has adopted to support and work for the emergence of Frank Nneji come 2019 and called on all and sundry in the state to rally round Nneji.

Describing Frank Nneji as a very humble man who doesn’t make noise about his achievements, the coordinator general added that Imo state needs him to be able to stay alive beyond 2019. He said the unemployment level and other economic hardships experiencing today will explode in 2019 if the state doesnt get an industrious entrepreneur who can create real jobs to lead it in 2019.
Responding the Administrative Secretary of Frank Nneji Campaign Organisation, Mr. Brent Akomas thanked them for identifying with the campaign

Organisation even as he described the solidarity as a welcomed development.
He said Mr. Frank Nneji is a tried, tested and trusted person who has lived with us steadily for the past 35. “He knows our plight. He will rebuild Imo where everybody will be proud to be. Thank God you know most of his achievements. He will replicate them as the governor of the state. So carry the message to all corners of the state till the project is actualised.

Highlight of the event was the singing and dancing of solidarity songs by members of the group
