Imo State has been in the news lately as a result of Rochas alleged corrupt enrichment and Emeka Ihedioha the present Imo State governor wanting to recoup and recover whatever that is stolen. Though, a lot of citizens of the state have advise the governor to focus on governance and let security agencies focus on the investigation of corrupt practice by Rochas and his cronies.

On this note, Ugwumba Nwosu, the brother in law of Rochas whom the former governor anointed to take over the mantle of leadership from him though Imo citizens objected to this has cries out that Emeka Ihedioha has taken his vendetta to a new level.

In his post, he said that his wife and family has been constantly threatened by state apparatus. In his words ” Earlier today, the governor of Imo State took his aggression against me and my family to a most dangerous level by sending his Chief Security officer(CSO) SP Ibe Chukwu(AP No87678),Jasper and thugs to beat up my wife. My wife was in her Mother’s furniture showroom at Owerri, when without provocation, an aide of the governor hit her and threatened to kill her.”

“This is the first time we are having a governor who would go extra miles to harass his opponent. We had Governor Udenwa in this State, and at no time did he send anyone to beat up the wives of his rivals, Ohakim didn’t do that, neither did Owelle Rochas Okorocha do that. I feel this is an affront on my wife”, he concluded.

Taking a religious stand, Uche as he is fondly called said that he would take it easy and wouldn’t return evil for evil. “My Bible commands me not to pay evil with evil and that is what I’m going to do. I leave them to God”, he opined.
