Bankers Cup : Fidelity Banks Disgraces First Bank, Kennedy Nwosu Wins The MVP player of the Year

Bankers Cup has always been exciting, entertaining and thrilling! The annual football competition for banks in Nigeria came to a close today with Fidelity Bank winning the cup for the third time. This is the third time in a row that the financial institution is wining it and also one of the most exciting player Kennedy K. Nwosu clicking the Most Valuable Player award.

In a match that was filled with anxiety and pressure, keenly competed between First Bank and Fidelity Bank, Fidelity Bank clinched the trophy to demonstrate superiority, discipline and tactics.

Kelechi Kennedy Nwosu was awarded the most valuable player of the match. The MVP is a staff of the Fidelity Bank, Owerri Imo State branch. In a chat with the MVP , he said that

” I am elated to be part of the team that clinched the trophy for the third time in a row. We have worked tirelessly for this and we thank God that this has come to an end . I appreciate the team effort and I must be honest , it is not my making but teams effort . Without the team , I wouldn’t be able to clinch this ” he added.

This isn’t the first time Fidelity Bank is locking horns with First Bank, they had slugged it out before and Fidelity Bank came out victorious. This year’s completion will put the superiority contest between First Bank and Fidelity Bank at rest. Fidelity Bank has demonstrated it and has set a record for other teams .

Fidelity and First Bank has played against each other in the past from 2015 ,2016 and now 2017, the encounter has favoured Fidelity Bank .

This year’s edition of the tournament is the the 17th of its kind ! It officially kicked -off on Sunday, 8th October, 2017 at the Sports Complex of Yaba College of Technology. The 8-week tournament has been entertaining and has lived up to the expectations of football lovers.
