Tiwa Savage is being accused of disrespecting Ghana by dropping the country’s flag on stage during concert.

The Nigerian singer during the Saturday night performance in Ghana was reported to have treated the nation’s flag with little or no respect as she dropped the flag to the floor during her time on stage.

In the video footage of Tiwa’s performance at the #GhanaMeetsNaija2017 concert, the singer was ushered onto the stage along with her troupe flying the nation’s flag as a cape but as soon as the performance kicked off, Tiwa Savage tossed the flag off, a move which was described by many of the nationals as a disrespect.

Social media users, Ghanaians in particular have reacted on their social media page, calling the artiste out for her conduct.

Reacting to her performance, Ghanaian OAP and actress, Afia Schwarzenegger wrote on Instagram;
“She disrespected every Ghanaian sitting there by dropping our flag”.

Afia’s comment ignited Ghanaians who thronged to social media to air their grievances.
