Exhibition: Hannie De Eventa to wow Nigerians with bespoke fashion items

The ancient  city of Ibadan to showcase the indigenous skills and talents that abound in the state. Oyo state has been on the forefront of indigenous enterprise from the days of the old cocoa business till date. With the change of paradigm from crude based economy to non-crude oil based economy, As a result of growing need to diversify the economy , a group of private enterprises notably the  Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the state will be showcasing their products, in line with global best practice .

 

Lately, there has been calls for self sustainability in some items in the country has been going on for sometime now, with the downward trend in the price of crude. Nigerians have been advised to look inward on how to reduce the demand for foreign exchange that would be used to import those things that would have been produced locally. On this note , Hannie De Eventa, a top notch Nigerian designer specializing in bespoke items for corporates and individual will be showcasing their products for all Nigerians to see.

Hannah Paul, the managing director and founder of Hannie De Eventa siad that ” Nigeria as a country has come if she, with the high level of unemployment in the country, we have to look towards the area of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship has been noted to leap frog many countries of the world to developed economies. We believe that with the sufficient enabling environment which the government is creating, we would excel”, she remarked

“This exhibition is targeted at the people that still have doubts on our capacity to produce simple things, we at Hannie De Eventa ,have demonstrated that we have the capacity to compete with foreign imports , especially those from the Far East Asian countries. We will be showcasing these items that we have produced and we encourage Nigerians to be present ” , she added.

 

Hannie De Eventa is a bespoke fashion house specialising in various items ranging from gifts, shoes, bags and other corporate gifts. Having impacted on the Nigerian youths through their capacity building in Ibadan and Benin cities. The fashion house would be opening up an outlet in Lagos soon.
