One of the biggest challenges in the agriculture in Nigeria is the  value chain. The marketing of agro allied products has been  badly done be it in the local or international market. This poor marketing can be attributed to poor packaging and this leads to product loss. A situation that ChoTola Farms are planning to change by by deploying the best practices in product packaging and marketing. Owned by ChiTola, an agro allied firm that has made great strides in mushroom packaging , capacity building is  introducing many products from mushrooms to vegetables

With the unveiling of various agro allied products which can be sourced in the Nigerian markets and malls. Nigerians would have the  luxury of buying these vegetables over  the counter not irrespective of the season .

In the word of Chi Tola, the CEO is WAASA , she said that ” value chain has been one of the biggest challenges with agriculture in Nigeria. This has limited our product values and loss of profit that comes as a result of perishable nature of agricultural products. We at CHI TOLA Farms  are trying as much to ensure that our products gets to the final consumers and fresh in any part of the country and beyond.

With this step taken by us , agriculture and value change which includes marketing and packaging of products would be revolutionalised . The outfit can   be seen as a pacesetter in this area of vegetable and mushroom marketing and packaging.
