CFA’s Chukwuemeka Invited To Be Part of The Jury for the Falling Walls Lab Lagos By German Consulate

The founder of CFAtech, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata (CFA) has received an invitation from the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany to be part of the jury for the first Falling Walls Lab Lagos which will hold 28th April 2018.
This was clearly indicated in a correspondence signed by the Ingo Herbert, Consular General of the Federal Republic of Germany.
He said “It is my privilege and honor to write to invite you as a member of the jury to the first Falling Walls Lab Lagos which will take place at the German Consulate General on 28th April 2018 at 1 pm”
The Falling Walls Lab is a commemoration of the Falling the Berlin Wall established in 2011 by the Falling Walls Foundation to support ideas and innovation from outstanding academics anywhere in the world.
According to Herbert, the Falling Walls Lab Lagos is being jointly carried out with support from the University of Ibadan, by the German Consulate Lagos and the Nigerian arm of German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) the first ever Falling Walls in Nigeria.
He added that the Labs are organized independently in various places across the globe, typically by or in collaboration with a scientific institution.
Interested student applicants of any disciplines from various institutions should submit their application on www.falling-walls.com/lab/apply. These students would be judged based on their ideas, vision, social initiatives to business models relevant to the world today.
However, they will have to do a 3 minutes presentation of their project to the jury, consisting of experts from academia, research institutions, and the business community.
The selected winners will travel to Berlin, Germany to participate in the Lab Finale, where there will be presentations from 100 other winners of other Labs across the globe. As well as the Falling Walls Conference, where more than 600 guests from 75 nations are expected to attend.
All participants attend the conference, the three winners of the Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin give their 3 minutes talks again. The costs are covered by the hosting institution
