Army Hosts Football March for Youths

Spectators from Monguno and the surrounding villages turned out in their thousands this evening to watch the first semi final match of the Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai Football Tournament, which took place at Federal Government Girls College, Monguno.

The semi final match was between Riverside Football Club of Damasak and Ngazai Football Club of Ngazai.

Thefootball tournament which kicked off on 16 September, is part of ongoing efforts by 8 Task Force Division to engage the youths of Northern Borno and also assist in post conflict stabilization and recovery of the region.
