Akwa Ibom State: Techforest.ng Seeks For Government Intervention Through Policies



Akwa Ibom State Tech-Ecosystem led by Ubong Nsekpong from Techforest.ng paid Mr Speaker a courtesy visit in his office. The group through their spokesperson Mr Ubong Nsekpong thank Mr Speaker Onofiok Luke for the opportunity to meet with them.

The group while in their address to Mr Speaker requested for a law that will facilitate the funding of tech start Ups in Akwa Ibom by the Akwa Ibom State Government. This will help young tech startups in the state grow faster.

The group also requested for laws that will help corporations operating in Akwa Ibom and her agencies give out tech related contracts to Akwa Ibom state based tech companies. This will support and upgrade the skills level within the #Akwaibom State tech Ecosystem.

Mr Speaker’s passion for ICT and Tech innovations has been impressive. This is a man that has lunched out software development and computer training for people of his constituency on Merit and currently working towards an interaction session with Techies to hear their yarning and aspiration as well as warehouse to accommodate all techs that will help the state solve some problems.

Mr Speaker in his remarks salute the techies in Akwa Ibom that has been of tremendous support to him, the likes of Hanson and others. Give his support to the young techies in Akwa Ibom and looking forward for a session with all the Techies in Akwa Ibom State to see how they can solve some of the State problems with their innovations.
