Agbor-Alidinma Holds 2017 Iwa-Iji Festival, Bazaar, October 14


AGBOR-Alidinma Community,in Ika South Local Government Area, Delta State, holds her 2017 New Yam Festival (Iwa-Iji),comprising of feast and Bazaar on
Saturday, October 14, 2017, starting from 1.00pm prompt.

According to a statement issued by the Chairman Organizing Committee,Mr. Isaac Owunumba, the Community’s Publicity/Public Relations Officer, Mr. Emmanuel Vincent Okoro, the event shall take place at the Umu Primary School Playground,Agbor-Alidinma, and will be held under the Chairmanship of a renowned businessman, Chief Mike Okwunonke,the annual event will commence with the conference on October 13 as well as a thanksgiving service on Sunday October 15, 2017 at Samuel Ebie Anglican Church, Agbor-Alidinma, Ika South Local Government Area.

On the day of the Iwa-Iji festival,music will be supplied by Deskenny Musical Dance Band and Isioma Dance Band.During the Bazaar, there will be sales of raffle tickets for N1,200 each,as the lucky winners are expected to go home with a Masobi Motorcycle,Grinding Machine and 4.9KVA Electric Generator among other consolation prizes.
