Social Media has come to stay, it allows firms ,citizens and other to tell their stories without gatekeeping or bottlenecks. The Advent of social media platforms have given the voiceless voice and SMEs have come to utilize the power of this media .

Leading the pack is Facebook , Twitter , LinkedIn ( more professional ) and a whole or of others. The importance of social media can’t be over emphasized ,though with a lot of downside like invasion of privacy, fake news etc. Social Media has changed paradigm in many countries of the world. The Arab Spring is an example of power of social media. The election of Buhari or the #change mantra made the ruling government to waltz themselves to the heart of Nigeria…that is the power of this tool- social media.
